What I'm Doing Here

Because I enjoy adventure games, I decided to start this blog and record my fun and frustrations as I play various adventures and some RPGs. I try not to spoil the games, so you can read and play, or play and read. I'm also reviewing some games, as I used to do in the past for Four Fat Chicks. I hope I'll spark your interest in playing, or at least entertain you with my musings. Please note that my musings are only speculations. You, or the game designer, may disagree with my opinions. At the end of each entry is a link to the next entry about that game, and you'll find a list of beginning links to the right, just under my cat's photo. Feel free to comment and play along! Enjoy!

Fran Bow 5: Math is Hard

Still in the pleasant land of trees and plants, which is starting to experience some intrusions from the nasty world of the dark monsters. These appear to be trying to trick Fran into succumbing to them, but fortunately she refuses!

Still going through the little puzzles, some of which aren't all that obvious. You do have to think a bit. I'm still following CJU's videos, but I'm keeping ahead of him and have managed to solve a good 90% of it by myself.

However, I ran into a math puzzle. It would be fairly easy for most people, because the clues are right there by the puzzle, but I do not do arithmetic. I do not do it, Sam I am. I fiddled with it and actually figured out how it should be done--if I had been able to do the arithmetic. I do not find arithmetic pleasant. I copied what CJU had.

One fun thing about this area is that you have the ability to change the seasons whenever you like. This is the key to most of the puzzles. When you can't do something in one season, you can do it in another season.

Anyway, I'm still enjoying it, but I would rather like to move on. I'm just starting CJU's 11th video (I think), and he has 17 for this game. So, there is still quite a lot of game to go.

Until next time!
