What I'm Doing Here

Because I enjoy adventure games, I decided to start this blog and record my fun and frustrations as I play various adventures and some RPGs. I try not to spoil the games, so you can read and play, or play and read. I'm also reviewing some games, as I used to do in the past for Four Fat Chicks. I hope I'll spark your interest in playing, or at least entertain you with my musings. Please note that my musings are only speculations. You, or the game designer, may disagree with my opinions. At the end of each entry is a link to the next entry about that game, and you'll find a list of beginning links to the right, just under my cat's photo. Feel free to comment and play along! Enjoy!

The Fall of April 5: Can I Finish on My Own?

Zooming along in the game although I haven't had much playing time. But locations are disappearing from the map, so I know I'm pretty well advanced in the game. I got into the computer, but still have not found the combination to the safe in the hotel.

I found Bigge! But . . . it's a different actor! Still uses the same voice, but has a younger, far different appearance!

Is this they old guy's son perhaps?

I'm mad at myself because I found a clue and didn't interpret it correctly. Looked at the verdamnten hint and realized that I had figured it out, just put things out of order—and the order was the default decision! Tried to be too clever for my own good.

Also had to look at a hint to find the address of one of the characters. I'm not mad at myself for that one—it was in an extremely obscure location.

But that location revealed a talk with Mikael Nyqvist, the game developer, who, like Alfred Hitchcock, always appears somewhere in his games.

He usually plays a villain or strange character

As of now I'm pretty firmly stuck. Gonna hunt around a bit more tonight and see if I can break through.

Till then!

Next Entry.
